John and Lisa Bevere founded John Bevere Ministries in 1990 in Orlando, Florida, driven by a mandate to see nations transformed by the power of God’s Word. In 2001 the ministry moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado, where it has grown internationally with offices in the United Kingdom and Australia. John Bevere Ministries became Messenger International in 2004. In addition to their preaching and teaching ministry, the Beveres have published more than 20 books, including The Bait of Satan, Drawing Near, and Driven by Eternity. John is an international speaker and co-host of “the Messenger” TV program broadcast worldwide.

PAUL ALEXANDER

Dr. Paul Alexander has served as President of Trinity Bible College since March 7, 2012. He has a vision to lead the college in becoming a place of choice for students preparing for ministry, mission, and the workplace. Key elements of turning vision into reality have included a dynamic Intercultural Studies program, Adult Degree Completion Program, and innovative Master’s program being led by his wife, Dr. Carol Alexander. In addition to serving as missionaries, the Alexanders have lived on four continents and led a variety of ministries and institutions which include pastoring churches in the UK, South Africa, and Australia as well as leading institutions of higher learning in each place.

 

He will speak on Tuesday at 1:30pm.

CHOCO DEJESUS

Wilfredo “Choco” De Jesús serves as senior pastor of New Life Covenant Church (NLC), one of the fastest-growing churches in Chicago. He was appointed as Executive Presbyter of the East Spanish Language Area during the 2015 General Council in Orlando. Born and raised in Chicago’s tough Humboldt Park Community, his life was transformed at age 14 when he was led to the Lord while working a summer job at the church. He has been a member of the church ever since, and became senior pastor in 2000. Under his leadership the church has grown from 120 to 17,000 globally and has launched over 130 ministries targeting the city’s most disenfranchised residents. Countless lives have been transformed and rehabilitated. Pastor Choco has authored two books, Amazing Faith and In the Gap.

 

He will speak during the ordination service  on Tuesday at 7pm.

GORDON ANDERSON

Dr. Gordon Anderson has served as President of North Central University since June 1995. Under his leadership, the University has achieved record enrollment levels, significant business, and operational gains, and consistent academic vision. He recently announced his impending retirement, to become effective June 1, 2017. His rich experience includes 14 years of pastoral leadership and over 35 years as a college professor and administrator. He has authored numerous articles and several books. Recognized as an authority on Pentecostal doctrine, his preaching ministry has both challenged and encouraged Illinois ministers at several District functions.

 

He will speak on Wednesday at 10am.
