Friends,

 

​No fluff, no flowery greetings … I really want to see you at DC’17!  We will be rolling out the God-breathed

vision for the next few years. I believe I have heard the Lord loud and clear and received our direction arrow. 

I have been inspired during the Listening Tour hearing the feedback from all of you, as well as from our

District Presbytery. Our focus will target ideas and initiatives for Pastoral Health, Church Health, Church

Planting, and Missions. We will also be able to communicate God’s blessings on our finances and His

direction for new ministry positions in our District.  It will certainly be a time of reflection and vision casting

as our family, #teamillinois, spends time together.

 

Upon arrival, we want to pamper you and provide opportunity to be refreshed.  A group of neck/back

professionals will be on campus to help wipe away the stress of traveling and help kick off our time together. You will not want to miss Sunday night! Our sessions will begin Monday at 10:30 am as we ask God to speak to us. Our special speaker line-up includes  Dr. Carol Taylor (President of Evangel University), Dick Brogden (Live/Dead missionary), and our very own General Superintendent

Dr. George Wood to inspire us to raise the bar of excellence in ministry!  Please come prepared to be challenged and join together for a seed offering for Asia Pacific missions.  Every church should plan to participate in helping our missionaries on the other side of the world.

 

May 21-24 will be here before you know it!  I cannot stress enough the value for us to spend time together.  Make your plans now and continue to pray God will use #teamillinois in ways we have never experienced before.
