Scott Hagan has served as president of North Central University since June 2017. Previously, he was founding and lead pastor of Real Life Church in Sacramento CA from 2006–2017 where he helped plant 10 new congregations and campuses throughout northern California. Drawn to the study and practical application of leadership inside and outside the church, he has written six books on leadership, influence, and biblical topics, as well as more than 60 articles for Christian publications. He and his wife Karen have four grown children and multiple grandchildren. He will speak Monday morning.

 

Since 2009, Jamie and Tasha Kemp have served as missionaries to Indonesia, the largest Muslim country in the world, where they have pioneered campus ministry that strategically focuses on Muslim university students. Jamie also travels throughout the country and Asia to help local churches establish healthy and effective youth ministries. He and Tasha have been married since 2002 and have two children. Jamie will speak during the Monday night missions service.

 

Kendall and Starla Bridges are lead pastors of Freedom Church in Carrollton TX, a congregation of over 2000 in the North Dallas area. They are authors of “Better Marriage: Against All Odds” which tells the story of their once broken, now restored marriage. They have four married children and eight grandchildren. Starla will speak during Monday’s Women’s Luncheon, and the couple will share together in the Tuesday afternoon session.

 

Ron Heitman was elected Assistant Superintendent-Chicago in 2017. He and his wife Tamra have pastored Evangel Assembly of God in Hanover Park for the last 13 years. The church has launched three PACs (parent-affiliated churches) – Evangel Indian Church, Iglesia Evangel, and Evangel Mongolian Church – with additional ethnic PACs and multi sites in their vision. The Heitmans recently celebrated 25 years of marriage and have two adult daughters. Ron will speak Tuesday morning.

 

Gary Blanchard has served in the Illinois District office since January 2001; he was elected Assistant Superintendent and Executive Secretary in 2002. In 2008 he began the Illinois School of Ministry which helps individuals fulfill the educational requirements for credentials. Gary's passion is investing in the next generation of leaders. He and his wife Anne, an ordained minister, have been married since 1969 and have three children, nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He will give the ordination service message.

 

Phil Schneider was elected Superintendent in 2012. From 1990-2012, he was lead pastor of Cornerstone AG in Bethalto which developed a multi-site presence of church campuses throughout the metro east area. His leadership style is found in creating relationships, financial integrity, and connecting with young ministers. He has a heart for diversity of every kind. He and his wife Renee have been married since 1981 and have five children and six grandchildren. He will speak Wednesday morning.
